The Smoke Chair. Designed by Maarten Baas for Moooi, in the Netherlands.

The wooden chair frame is lit on fire. Then extinguished. Then sealed with an epoxy. Then upholstered in black leather.

That’s hot.

amazing work, love it! the shape reminds me the elegance of the pieces by Boca do Lobo, maybe you’d like to take a look ;)
